Hi all, about 50% of the currently registered policies (~5200) are not FQDNs. Therefore, according to today's discussion, i propose the following: I will run an initial policy cleanup this night, starting from 10pm CET. This will then be repeated in weekly intervals, starting on Monday, Feb 7 2011, 10pm. Monday is chosen to allow running test installations over the weekend. A cleanup will remove all policies associated with non-reachable URIs, A URI is considered non-reachable, if the hostname does not resolve via nslookup. As a means to cut down on network traffic, cleanup will delete in a first sweep all hostnames without a top-level domain and try DNS lookup for the rest.
